FREQUENTLY ASKED

MAKEUP:

  • HOW LONG THE MAKEUP TAKES?

Very natural look 50 minutes

Full makeup 1 hour

  • WHICH MAKEUP AND SKINCARE BRAND DO YOU USE?

Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, MAC, Hourglass, Still, Morphe, Inglot, The ordinary, Reb cosmetics, Vani-T, Estee Lauder,  Bobby Brown, Element Two, Temptu, Model Rock lashes and more. I like to introduce something new when I have the chance to experiment and find always better products to achieve different results.

  • DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO PREPARE FOR THE MAKEUP SESSION?

Nothing is required, however a regular skin regimen makes the difference on how makeup products are sitting on the skin and benefits the final look. Especially dry flakey skin is hard to cover up so I suggest you look at hydrate your skin drinking the right amount of water and using hydrating products.

Here some suggestions for you:

Once a week: Facial scrub, Detox Mask

Every morning: Gentle exfoliator cleanser, Hyaluronic acid, eye cream, SPF 50+

Every evening: Remove makeup, cleanser specific to your skin type, anti-ageing serum, eye cream, niacin amide zinc, night cream

Before using any active ingredient skin care test it, follow instructions. If you have specific skin issues always speak first with a professional skin therapist or dermatologist. For sensitive skin suggest to use mineral products and non comedogenic skin products

BROW LAMINATION & LASH LIFTING:

  • CAN BE DONE AT THE SAME TIME?

Absolutely, it's actually a good idea so you don't have to come back on different weeks and you are always on track within your 8 weeks

  • CAN YOU HAVE IT DONE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT?

As the product does have some contact with the skin, I recommend waiting until after the first trimester, and in addition, as the skin can be more sensitive during pregnancy, you can do a patch test at least 48 hours prior to the service.

  • WHY IT'S RECOMMENDED TO WAIT 6/8 WEEKS IN BETWEEN LASH LIFT TREATMENTS?

A natural lash cycle is for approximately. 30 days. We need to give your lashes time to fall and regrow. If done too early the treatment might not last as long as we couldn't treat lashes that are about to come up treating instead lashes that are about to falling out

  • IN WHICH CASES, THESE TREATMENT ARE NOT FOR YOU?

If you are taking an oral form of Retin-A, Renova or Accutane

If you have recently treated for cancer.

Your hormones and skin are very sensitive and you might get an adverse reaction. We suggest to wait al least 6 months after the suspension of the above and to get a medical clearance if uncertain.

  • WHY EXFOLIATION & MOISTURISING IS IMPORTANT PRIOR TANNING

Exfoliation removes dead dry skin layer creating the base canvas for the tan to sit on evenly.

I use solution that are designed to not dry your skin however it is fundamental to keep your skin hydrated through drinking water and applying moisturiser am and pm every day especially leading to your spray tan and after

  • WHAT CAN AFFECT THE RESULT & LONGEVITY OF YOUR TANNING?

Not following pre and after care makes huge impact to the result and longevity of your spray tan

  • WHY YOU SEE AROUND SPRAY TANS TURNING ORANGE AND HOW TO FIX IT

You didn't wash it off at the right time and oversaturated. If you follow the instructions properly will not happen!

The Solution: For too dark or orangey spray tans, put baby oil on the skin, let it set and then soak in a hot bath for a while. The oil and hot water will help to break down the tan.

  • IN WHICH CASES, THESE TREATMENT IS NOT FOR YOU?

If you have Eczema, spray tan dries out those pots even more causing irritation. Dry skin absorb the tan solution becoming patchy. We suggest to wait the eczema goes away before having the treatment done. If eczema spot is always there and limited to a small area we can avoid the area as much as possible.

Recent Tattoos, Surgery, Sunburn are a NO to spray tan. Need to wait the complete recovery before proceed.

  • CAN YOU HAVE IT DONE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT?

I recommend waiting until after the first trimester, and in addition, as the skin can be more sensitive during pregnancy. Also hormones change how skin absorbs and react to products.  I really invite you to do a patch test at least 48 hours prior to the service.
